Moochie,
I was sorry to hear about your dad. Seeing his picture and reading the obit, made me remember so many great times in the old neighborhood. Please give my regards to your mom, sisters and brother.

Dear Louise and Family,
This is a difficult time in your lives and one you will remember for a long time. Know that God is watching over all of you as well as Arnie. No matter how much we have to deal with in our lives we all come to the end of our journey at some point. We leave behind a lot of people who love us and wish that some things could have been different. We all have our own ways of showing what we mean to each other and sometimes it is very lacking in our person to be able to do that. The children of Bob and Lorene DeWitt seemed to lack that in some way. You have to look for the little things that they did or said in a time of weakness because they thought they needed to be strong guys I guess. They did love us and since the death of Bob I can see a lot of ways he did show us his love even though they were not evident at the time. So, remember the good times. Forget the bad and live your lives remembering to right that wrong with your own families. Next to our God, "Love" is the most important feeling in life. Share it happily and sincerely. We love you all, Aunt Joyce, Harlan and Families##imported-begin##Joyce & Harlan Hockenbraugh##imported-end##
Our family's prayers are with you all at this time. Now Arnie can join Ween and Gus and their other buddies at that branch of Fricano's in the heavens!
One of my fondest memories of the DeWitt family goes back to 1957, when Deb and I made our First Communions. We did the whole white dress and veils thing, posed for a formal photo in the basement at St Patrick's School, and then had a family breakfast of the Berg and DeWitt families.
Dad and Arnie shared many things in common, working at the Post Office, service to the parish and some good times at Fricanos.
Thanks for sharing your husband and dad with our family.
