My condolences to Art's family. I knew him at Spectra in Grand Haven years ago when he was a supervisor in the stamping department. Art had a very nice, quiet manner about him - but could be tough when necessary : ). His employees liked and respected him as well as enjoyed his neat sense of humor.
Our team were at the soaring eagle bca pool tourney captain Art bought shirts for our team, I had on a Jordan tee shirt. Art ask where was my rocket pocket tee shirt and I told him it was up in my hotel room, he said you must not be shooting - ten minutes later I had on a rocket pocket tee shirt that's my captain 100% good people.
I worked with Art & I will always remember his laugh, genuine kindness & humbleness! I will think of him when I see potted tomatoes. His patience in trying to teach me to grow them. He even bought me two plants & potted then for me. His Tom the car stories, his love for sitting in his deer blind and watching for the porcupine ...and how much he love & adored Kathy! Art, you are missed by so many!
