Arthur “Amos” Huls, Jr. age 87, of Ferrysburg passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at home with his family at his side. He was born February 14, 1932, in Grand Haven to Arthur and Dorothy (Brown) Huls, Sr., and he married Janett Read Obituary
I, too, have many fond memories due to living next door growing up. The memory I have always had when seeing or thinking of Mr. Huls, was my very special nickname he called me... not even sure where it came from...lol! My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Huls and family, you are in our prayers.
Our sincere condolences to all of you! Tommy would tell us stories quite often about his dad and fishing and hunting and just being in the outdoors and all of the things he did. You will be in our thoughts and prayers!

I headed north today and took Dot fishing.She may have had a litle help catching her first walleye and outfishing the other guy in the boat.
Amos has meant so much to me through out my life. Taught me how fish for Brook trout in the streams around Copemish. Wonderfully stories about fishing and hunting around the campfire. Won't be the same. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I am so sorry to read this news. I have so many fond memories of the fun and laughter in your household. I have never forgotten how you always welcomed me there when times weren't so good for me.
