My interaction with Mr. Ruiter was the many times he came to see my Dad, Dudley Nedervelt. He was so thoughtful and so compassionate. He truly had a big heart and wanted the best for my Dad.

My sympathy to Art's family. I knew Arthur from his many donations of baked goods to Christian Haven Home. Art would sometimes come in at the end of the breakfast meal when residents were still seated in the dining room, chat a bit with me, and ask who was new to the home. He would then seek that person out, pull up a seat, and have a talk. Sometimes Arthur would just have a seat and talk with any of the residents who were still in the dining room. Arthur was truly a servant of God, looking our for the welfare of others. I will truly miss him. Sincerely, Kim Siple
