Barbara Boomer's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Boomer, age 85, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born on April 12, 1935 to Louis and Edna (Grenell) Dancz in Ludington, MI. Barbara married Ray Boomer on June 12, 1953 in Muskegon. She was a sixth-grade teacher for 30 years in the Mona Shores School System. Barbara enjoyed playing tennis and taking walks and loved spending time at Lake Michigan beach. She also volunteered her time rehabilitating the Milwaukee Clipper. Barbara is survived by her husband Ray Boomer; children, Steven (Ruth) Boomer, Mike Boomer, Kim (Miles) Golba and Thomas (Alice) Boomer; grandchildren; Heidi (Chawn) Duty, Monica (Cory) Kaiser, Micah Golba, Louis Boomer, Jake Boomer and Thomas Boomer; great-grandchildren, Charles, Weston and Delanie; brothers, Dave Dancz, Terry Dancz and Tony Dancz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Twiest and Kathy Hallberg. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held.
