It was my great pleasure to have known Barb and to have had her in my life for the last 8 years of her life. I am the Activity Director at Christian Care, where Barb always said was her favorite place to live. During the time I knew Barb, she was always such a bright shining light in a world that can so many times be sad and dreary. Barb never failed to have a smile, a hug and a kind word for her friends or for that matter, anyone she came into contact with. Barb loved to talk about her hard working years of doing laundry, dishes, the neighbor's chores, etc. all with one hand. We will never forget the stories of how her had went through the ringer and how it was the ringer that broke and not her hand. She loved to talk about her father's music and how she outlived her own doctor's predictions and the doctor himself! Barb had an indomitable spirit about her and it was the sunshine radiating from her that warmed all of our spirits on a daily basis. She loved to be involved with any and all activities. Her room filled with prizes was evidence of her great love for the game of bingo. She could answer any Bible trivia question and recite the Lord's prayer. Barb had a strong belief in the Lord and His presence in her life was evident in how she lived her life every day. People like Barb do not come along every day and all who knew her were truly blessed by her spirit and her love. I will never forget Barb and will cherish every moment that we spent together. Even though she may be gone in body-her spirit definitely lives on in my life and in the lives of all who knew her. I just thank God for the gift of Barb and look forward to the day when we shall meet at Jesus' feet. God bless you, Barb...rest in peace. I love you and miss you, your friend, Tami##imported-begin##Tami Tufts##imported-end##
