I remember him fondly as our neighbor growing up and that everyone in the Smith household was so helpful to my Mother, Eva Alms in her later years when she was alone. Dear Evelyn, I was saddened to hear about Bernie's passing. he was a great co-worker and friend, I enjoyed working with him. he was well versed in many areas, and thats what I liked about him, he most often had an answer.He also gave me alot of confidence on the job, witch I still hold today. Sorry I won't be at the memorial service, but you and your family will be in my thoughts.
