I'm sorry to hear of Burt's passing. I knew him from the Vikings and he was always such an enjoyable guy to be around. May he rest in peace.

I would like to share a story about me and Uncle Bert... My 10th grade year at Mona Shores, During 5th hour English class, I seen Uncle Bert "wondering" past my class room. I wasn't sure why he would be there so I excused myself from the class and chased Uncle Bert down and asked him "What are you doing here?" Uncle Bert said "I was looking for you!" I asked him if he had stopped at the office, and he said "No, I didn't see one!" So, I asked him "well what do you need me for?" Uncle Bert said "after you get out of school, I want you to go to Plumbs on Sherman, then go down stairs to the office and ask for Gordon Ambrose tell him that you are my nephew and that you are here for the Customer Service position. How cool is that! My Uncle got me a job!!! I thanked him again and again, and I had a great time working with him. Uncle Bert, You will always be in my Heart, Soul and Prayers. I will always Love and miss you.
To John, Janet, and Gary... You all will be in my prayers during this tough time, but remember...Uncle Bert will always be in our hearts.
Love you all,
Tom
Sorry to hear of your loss. I got to know him at the Holton Rd Plumbs store. Over the years I had the privilege to work with Bert in different stores.

Bert, I hope you and Irene are enjoying meeting up again :-) We will miss you and we extend our deepest sympathy to Janet, John and Gary. Losing your dad is one of the hardest things you will have to deal with, but he was loved and he had no doubt about that. Love, Steve and Teresa Rogers
