Leela Aiyagari
When my little brother Jay was taught by her at Gretchen’s House I remember she helped to manage his rare allergies. Once while he was going through his food challenges to see if he was still allergic to certain foods he stole a banana (one of his allergens) from the snacks for the other kids and he walked up to her and announced that he had eaten a banana, he always called her Befaney. Our whole family is saddened to hear of her death and remember her impact on my brother fondly
