I would like to offer my condolences to the family. Sheila and family, all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Betty Lou was my favorite aunt.
She would talk to me as an equal (I thought she did), and I will have to be satisfied with the memory of her pies and pot roast.
One of her favorite stories about me occoured one day when I was about 5 years old.
I had gone into the living room and seen a calf skin rug I had not seen before.
I went out to the kitchen where Betty was talking with other relatives.
I walked up to her and said "You killed your cat!"
It may not seem like a big thing, but it stuck with my favorite aunt and made me love her all the more whenever she told that story.

I was so sorry to read in the paper about the passing of your mother. Your folks were so kind to let me put my sign in their yard when I ran for Fruitland Township Trustee and it was a pleasure to meet and visit with them a couple of times when I stopped on my way by their house. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
