I thank God, I was able to take care of my sister-in-law the last few years of her life. She was such a classy lady & it was so hard on me to see her fail. Paul & I would take her to Meijer to get her groceries, take her out to eat, or bring her over to our house for dinner. She really enjoyed herself. Later she would be admitted to the nursing home.
She would ask me to pick things up for her. Boy did she ever have a sweet tooth. When I would bring her treats back to her, she would get so excited. I would kiss her cheeks & tell her how much I loved her. That would make her day. I am really going to miss her. So thankful, she doesn't have to suffer no longer.
