I want to extend my deepest sympathies to Betty's family. I worked at the A&W Rootbeer stand for Ralph and Betty when I was a teenager. I have very fond memories of them and they were wonderful people to work for. I just want to extend my deepest sympathies to Betty's family. I had the great, but all too short honor of recently meeting and befriending Betty-as Activity Director at Christian Care. Betty was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She was always there with her sweet smile and when I would mention Airline Rootbeer or one of her favorite "up north" towns-her eyes would always twinkle. I am very happy to say that Betty was able to go on our ice cream cone run about a week ago. We rode all over Muskegon and by the lakes eating our ice cream and Betty really seemed to enjoy herself. I was very saddened to hear of her passing and will definitely look forward to meeting up with her again one day in heaven.
