Beverly Jean Kurant's Obituary
Beverly Jean Kurant, age 85, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020. She was born September 3, 1935 in Muskegon to Chester and Evelyn (Golden) Hammond. Beverly graduated from Muskegon High School. She married Robert W. “Bob” Kurant and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2015. Beverly worked for Dr. Sprague for 20 years as a medical receptionist prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she served on the funeral luncheon committee. She was a member of the Muskegon Elks Lodge #274 and played many years on their women’s golf league. Beverly enjoyed spending time with family and her many travels with her close friends. SURVIVORS include 4 children: Kelley Ann (Kevin) Burch, James Kurant, Robert Kurant, and Kyle (Char) Kurant all of Muskegon; granddaughter, Kara (Joe) Brucato; grandsons: Connor and Brett; and great-grandsons: Carter and Riley. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bob Hammond. Private family services for Beverly will be held.
