Dear Mom,
This feels strange writing to you and not seeing the smile on your face. We all supported your decision to have surgery. God had other plans for you. I believe He told you to get the car and trailer packed because Pa was waiting for you.

my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I feel very lucky to have met Beverly and all the jensens and verhovens as well as orville and eloise last summer. beverly opened her home and her heart to me last summer and I will never forget her warmth and kind hospitality. As terry said, she is in a better place (for her) now.. and I hope the love shared by your wonderful, kind and caring families will help get you all through this painful part of life.. Again, you all remain in my thoughts and prayers.
