Beverly Marion Way, age 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2016. Beverly was born on March 2, 1924 to John and Bernice Carlson. She married Homer Way and they were married for 55 years before his passing i Read Obituary
Bev had the most infectious laugh and was so full of life. I could always count on her to participate with any activity. She was so proud of her family and what a great family they are! We will miss her greatly at Christian Care. May Gods Love Surround her family today and always!

Years ago,around 1973. I had the pleasure of meeting Beverly. I met her through her daughter, Judy, who was my neighbor at that time,as well as a very good friend. After getting to know Beverly, she introduced me to Avon, and I became one of her Avon ladies. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren, I only new Judy's daughters, Angela and Kelli, two very special ladies.Beverly, as I remember her,
always had a smile on her face and was much loved by everyone. I know she will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She has now been called home to be with her Father God. May God give her family the strength to endure during this sad time.

I remember living in our teeny little house on Austin Street with my mom and dad and 3 sisters (at the time, my brother came later). We had no basement. I remember my mom calling her cousin Bev who lived a few blocks away, to ask if we could shelter in her basement until a tornado went through. I remember running for our lives (we thought) to get to Bev's house, where we would be safe and also have a perfect opportunity to play with our cousins. I'm not sure there ever was a close threat, but Bev was always there to open her arms and welcome us into her home. We moved away a few years later, but Bev has always had a special place in my heart. Her generosity, kindness and laughter will be missed, but her sweet spirit will always be with us.

I met Bev when we were "Avon Ladies." 1975! Our hearts were blended together thru our shared faith in Jesus Christ.
Bev had a sweet spirit and a contagious smile.
She attended our AfterCare meetings after her son Ken died.
Heaven is a little sweeter today!
