Mrs. Beverly Marion Way's Obituary
Beverly Marion Way, age 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2016. Beverly was born on March 2, 1924 to John and Bernice Carlson. She married Homer Way and they were married for 55 years before his passing in 1999. Beverly was an Avon lady for many years and thoroughly enjoyed it. She was also a member of Broadway Baptist Church, where she was active in the Ladies Guild, AWANA, teaching Sunday school and Bible school. She enjoyed bowling, games, and socializing with friends. First and foremost was always her family. She was a strong, caring woman who will be deeply missed. Beverly is survived by her children, Jim Way, Larry Way, Judy Coon, Deb (Phil) Morehouse, and Cindy (Terry) Wieland; daughter-in-law Toni Way; 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and many nieces nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Ken Way; her parents; brothers, John Jr. and Donald Carlson; and sister, Kathryn Gibson. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday February 6, 2016 at 1pm at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be held on Friday from 5-7 and also one hour prior to the start of the service at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Disabled American Veterans.
