Mr. Blane John Mattfolk, Sr.'s Obituary
Blane John Mattfolk, Sr., age 42, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, October 7, 2012. He was born August 28, 1970 in Muskegon to John and Florence (Compton) Mattfolk. Blane was a 1987 graduate of Reeths Puffer High School and had been a restaurant manager for J.A.J., Inc. He was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church, enjoyed fishing with his father, and outdoor sports. On December 27, 2003 he married Rose M. Noles in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 children, Blane John Mattfolk, Jr., Kylie Newville; 3 step-children, Bonnie (Steve) Follet, Reida (Brandon) Osterman, Lisa (Jasen) Chaney; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Florence Mattfolk; sister, London (Dean) England; 3 nieces, Brooke, Sydney, Erin; aunts, uncle, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John Mattfolk on July 15, 2011. SERVICES will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Pastor Marcy Miller officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIALS to the Samuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated.
