Mr Carl Adolph Lindstrom's Obituary
Mr. Carl Adolph Lindstrom, age 80, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on November 14, 1936 to Arnold and Gertrude (Rosenberg) Lindstrom. Carl was employed by the Muskegon Chronicle for 38 years before retiring in 2000. He helped start the Stillwater’s “woodchucks” and was an active member of Central United Methodist Church where he served on many committees. Carl loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. On August 28, 1965, Carl married the former Diane Erbes in Muskegon and she survives him along with their two children, Kurt (Kate) Lindstrom and Eric (Angie) Lindstrom; three grandchildren, Keira, Liam and Konnor; one sister, Beverly (Edward) Anderson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Lindstrom. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S Harvey St, 231-798-1100 with Pastor John Brooks officiating. VISITATION will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, November 21, 2016. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boy Scout Troup’s 1051 and 1008, or Central United Methodist Church.
