Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Carl and Chuck spent time down here at the river fishing the Truckie Lake. Carl was never in a hurry to go home when he was fishing. One never knows from one day to the next whether we are young or older, God never promised us a tomorrow.##imported-begin##Al (Butch) and Sharon Zerns##imported-end##

Everytime I've called you uncle Carl you've answered smiling "nephew Luis". That meant a lot to me, a lot. It has been a great honor and privilege to be embraced with such love by my beloved American family and specially by you, uncle Carl. It is hard to face such loss from a distance, but I seek confort in the beautiful and shining moments I've had the opportunity to spend by your side. You are in the hearts and preyers of the whole brazilian family you haven't the opportunity to phisicaly meet. Be in peace uncle Carl, we love you dearly.##imported-begin##Luís Barros, Biba & the Brazilian family.##imported-end##

I will miss Carl with all my Heart. He will always be with all of us in our hearts. I am sure Carl will always be remember as the man with Dt. Mountain Dew, the man with a smile no matter what, the man who loved to talk and know one was a stranger. Carl was loved by so many people.
A memory that stays with me is when we were little and was getting in wood for our wood stove and of course we were screaming at each other as we did so many time, but he kept saying he was going to hit me and me being tough and brave I kept saying hit me, hit me, hit me right here. Well the next thing I remember, I am laying on the tale gate of our truck and he's over on top of me saying I am sorry, I didn't mean to do that I love you come back. He thought he hit me so hard he killed me. But all he did was knock the wind out of me. He hugged me said I love you sis I'll never hit you again, Well, we fought, we hit each other many time after that but we loved each other very much. I will miss my brother so very much. I know that now he is with the Lord and the rest of our family that has past looking down on us each and every day just laughing and smiling at us knowing we loved him and all of them very much.
Gail, Carl loved and treasured you with all he had, he will always be with you each and everyday. When the wind blows he is wispering in your ear, when it rains he's water your soul, when it's gray he's telling you he's sad and missing you, when the sun is beaming down warm and hot he's loving you with everything he has and letting you know that one day you will be together again.
I love you Carl
with all my love your Sister##imported-begin##Karen Wauer##imported-end##
