Carl A. Wauer's Obituary
Mr. Carl A. Wauer, age 50, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, June 5, 2009. He was born July 29, 1958 in Muskegon to Delmar and Oma (Dowdy) Wauer. Mr. Wauer was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and worked for Dake and Engine Power Components in Grand Haven for many years. After his wife and his family, the loves of his life were friends, fishing, hunting, the Red Wings, and Oakridge football. On August 10, 1984 he married the former Gail Kravis in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 children, Jennifer (Chuck) Passenier, Carl “C.J.” Wauer, Jr. both of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Camron, Tyson, and Emma Passenier; brother, William “Bill” (Jean) Wauer of Muskegon; sister, Karen (Mark) Wauer of Warren, TX; 10 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; life-long friend, Billy Ristau; and his fishing and hunting buddies, David, Don, and Jimmy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Clark. A CELEBRATION of Carl’s life will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, June 13, 2009 at his home.
