To the family, students and friends of GM Stolberg. He will remain in our hearts and memories forever. We, Professor Beghtal and I, along with others involved in the martial arts, met every wednesday for lunch for several years. Professor Beghtal, my Master, began his journey in martial arts with Carl, as students of Ernie Lieb. Over the years I had the benefit of listening to these Masters discuss their specialties as well as current events. These infamous lunches and talks will remain in my memory with great fondness. Carl was a great man, leader, an expert in his field and a good friend to have. I will miss him and send all of you my support as you continue your lives with him as your guide. May peace be your goal.##imported-begin##Teresa German##imported-end##

Friends, family and students have my deep sympathy during this time. Carl was a true master of the martial arts and was an inspiration to many. Carl was a great support and friend to me through difficult times while I was married to Ernie Lieb. Thank you for your brutal honesty and friendship. Peace.##imported-begin##Marlene Kinnell##imported-end##
