Carol A. Bollin's Obituary
Carol Ann Bollin, age 76, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Monday, December 30, 2024. Carol was born on June 2, 1948, to Jacob and Pearl (Greene) Deiber in Chicago, IL. She married Nicholas Bollin on February 24, 1968, in Chicago, and they spent 48 wonderful years raising a family together until he preceded her in death in 2016. Carol worked in the Safety Department of Whirlpool Corporation for eighteen and a half years, retiring in 2014 so that she could take care of her husband. Carol loved to crochet, read, and do puzzles, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
Carol will be lovingly remembered by five children: Kelly (Chris Dolezan) Bradshaw, Patrick (Sarah) Bollin, Michael (Debra) Bollin, Peggy Bollin, and Steven (Marta) Bollin; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; daughter in-law, Amber (Mark Smith) Bollin; and many nieces and nephews in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Pearl Deiber; husband, Nicholas Bollin; son, Tim Bollin; and her two sisters: Marion Rich and Frances Jensen.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Carol in the spring, details will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI, 49442.
