Rick, David, and Annie,
It seems like just yesterday we all celebrated the birth of our children together. The play group that David and Kristine (our oldest)were a part of are some the fondest memories I have of your mother. She always had some fun activity for the kids and she seemed to love our get togethers-- sharing the funny things you kids did or did not do...and the time off our meetings gave each of the moms.
I met your mother when we moved to GR and lived in a Kentwood Complex--I knew from our first meeting that I would enjoy her company--her sense of humor, her ability to be forthright, and her great kindness.
Although we drifted apart after the play group ended and we all got busy, Carol was always someone I knew to be a friend. Chance meetings in town would allow us to get caught up on our families, and it never seemed like time passed although years separated our encounters.
I am so very very sorry she has left us and my heart goes out to all of you. She will be missed greatly by all who had the great fortune of knowing her. I and my family send our heartfelt sympathy. She will always be in our hearts, and will long be remembered as my first friend in GR. God Bless. I pray that your memories of love will carry you through this and give you healing and strength.
Again, God Bless. She will be greatly missed.##imported-begin##Karen Auwers##imported-end##
