To Carol’s Children -
I don’t know any of you personally but your mother spoke of all of you lovingly. I met her just two short years ago at watercolor classes at Tanglewood. She was such a joy to know and be around. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious. I will miss running into her at Meijers and doing six months of catching up on life at one visit in the produce section. Please know I will miss her also, even though I knew her for such a short time. A wonderful woman.##imported-begin##Carol Ann Balcom##imported-end##
Carol, was not only our neighbor but a dear friend. She was always in her yard working, yet had time to stop and chat a bit. No holiday could go by without her decorating her front door and making a platter of goodies for us to enjoy. I will truly miss calling each other for JoAnn's coupons, as we both loved doing crafts. Charleston our dog will miss her throwing arm and the constant supply of tennis balls and treats. We truly feel blessed to have known Carol. ~The Thompson's##imported-begin##Holly Thompson##imported-end##

Carol will be dearly missed in our neighborhood. She was a fixture in her yard, working away and stopping to chat when she could. My kids loved Carol and the way she always had a special treat for them when they were walking by. It's people like Carol who make a community close and I know our neighborhood is special for having Carol in our lives. May she have a glorious garden in heaven with rows after rows of beautiful flowers.##imported-begin##Ronnie Gould##imported-end##
