When mom (Betty Benson) passes away this past Thanksgiving, pictures were chronologically placed in an online video set to music on my FB account. We just couldn’t figure out who that lady was who was with my mom at the beach. Later we learned it was Carrie & that the picture was taken by Kenny who was my dad’s best friend until he died 11 yrs ago. It was neat to hear mom & Carrie went to camp together for a week long ago when in their twenties. ‘‘Twas fun for us Benson kids to stop by and meet for the first time the Zecks when the Benson family did a swing through MI yrs ago when we lived in CA. Appreciated the opportunity to eat out together with Zecks back when pops was still living. It was always a pleasure to see Carrie & Kennie. Were planning on seeing both when we come down later this spring to lay my mom to rest down there. So sad we won’t see Carrie when we come!!! Prayers for you, Kenny, your kids, but we are especially loving Jordan I’m our family!!! God bless you all!!! Looking fwd to the day of Jesus’ return and the resurrection of those who have placed their faith in him!!!
I remember, during academy years, Luann bringing several of us to her home. Mrs Zeck was so sweet and accommodating! I also remember a little tiny dog who would not let anyone, including Mr Zeck, get close to Mrs Zeck without growling. We all got a good laugh over that little dog.
Looking forward to seeing your mom again in heaven, Luann!
Can't hardly wait for Jesus to come and get us all!!

Ken, I didn't know your wife, Carrie, but I'm sure she was a very nice woman. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you find solace in the company of your children and their families. Your former student, and colleague, Wayne Videtich.
Ken and Family,
Carole and I want to thank Carrie, Ken and their Family for all the help they gave to my parents as they aged. I remember all the good times at my parent's house on Leahy Street. Carrie was always a cheerful person. May God comfort the Family.

You were always happy to see Bill and I, we love visiting with your whole family. You are a blessing to your family and all that you came in contact with. Your smile, kindness, and friendship will be greatly missed. Loved you my other Mom.
Thoughts and prayers. Barbara Kissinger Davis.
Ken and family,
So sorry to hear of Carrie’s passing. I just talked with Jerry. I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend the services as I am wintering in Arizona. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you experience peace and healing in the days ahead. With love, Carol DeKuiper.
