Carrie Alma Zeck's Obituary
Carrie Alma Zeck, age 88, passed away Wednesday morning, February 26, 2020. She was born February 20, 1932 in Cedar Springs, MI to Howard and Nancy (Walls) Hunter. Carrie graduated in 1950 from Cedar Springs High School. On November 9, 1958, she married Ken Zeck in Muskegon. She was a member of the Muskegon Seventh-day Adventist Church where she had been the assistant church treasurer for many years. Carrie enjoyed knitting, quilting, and crocheting, but especially loved camping and campfires with family and friends. SURVIVORS include her husband, Ken; 2 children: Luann (Norman) Grove, Randy Zeck both of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren: Jordan Grove of Grayling, MI, Allison (Taylor) Grove of Vancouver, WA; brother, Ramon Hunter of Cedar Springs, MI; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: Leslie, Paul, Maurice, Jesse, and Florn Hunter; and a sister, Beulah McIntyre. SERVICES for Carrie will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Muskegon Seventh-day Adventist Church (3040 Evanston Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442) with Pastor Larry Kirkpatrick officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM Sunday at the church. Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. MEMORIALS to ADRA (Adventist Development and Relief Agency) will be appreciated.
