Dear Slagel Family, please accept my sincere condolences. After reading Kate's obituary it was apparent that she had a loving family and that she was a caring person. I want to share with you a Bible verse that has comforted me when I experienced great loss-Revelation 21:3-4 promises that God will "wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry the former thing have passed away" And Jesus comforted us with the words "blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth". God's original purpose of a beautiful paradise earth has not changed. In fact He lovingly promised to reunite us with our loved ones by means of a resurrection right here on this earth in peace and happiness in the very near future-John 5:28,29-Psalms 37:11,29,34.
