Dave, Diane, We remember one sunny afternoon, about 8 years ago, we came there to visit and Ellen wanted to see your little goats. One goat had green horns,Mom was furious, Dad was trying not to laugh. There was a can of spray paint on the ground (green). Little Chance was standing there looking like a little angel. Had to love him.
We are sorry we did not come to visitation or funeral, it is still hard to go to any yet, since losing Tyler. We understand the pain you are going through.
We are with you all in prayers and heart. We love you both.

Dear David & Diane,
How my heart aches with you. We lost our only Son Chuckie to a sledding accident on Jan 5, 1977. He would have been 8 on March 7th. Like your Chance he was a sweet fun loving little boy that left us much too young. Only God knows the reason why. Time will heal but you will never forget or truly get over. Tears are running down my face as I write to you. I will pray for your whole family. Please feel free to contact me if you would like. My daughter Kelsi and I just came home from the visitation. As we were walking out you saw a young girl crying over the loss of a friend. You stopped to ask if she went to school with Chance and immediately opened up your arms to engulf her in a hug. Then, while consoling her, you proceed to invite her into your home in the future if she is having a hard time dealing with her loss. What a blessing it would be to have people like you in all of our lives. Your strength, your love, your kindness and your happiness are qualities you past on to your son. To Chance's family ~ my heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow. I met Chance just a few times at my Granddaughter Carly DeMarse's, but I could see immediately his fun loving spirt and sense of adventure and just a zest for life.
