Chance Aaron Nash's Obituary
Chance Aaron Nash, age 11, of Nunica passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009, at a Grand Rapids hospital. He was born March 15, 1998, in Grand Haven to David and Diane (Elliott) Nash.
Chance was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Muskegon and was a student at Spring Lake Intermediate School where he enjoyed playing in the school band. He played soccer in the Tri-Cities area and sang in the Jeffers Elementary Honors Choir. Chance also enjoyed computers and video games, and he was very active on Facebook. He loved fishing, shooting his bow, and riding his bike. He also loved spending time at his grandparents’ homes in Florida and going to Disney World. Most of all, he loved being with his parents and his brothers and sisters.
Chance will be forever loved and missed by his parents, David and Diane Nash of Nunica; three sisters: Chasity, Melissa, and Karly; three brothers: Joseph, Hayden, and Dawson “D.J.”; grandparents, Dale and Lois “Pete” Elliott of North Muskegon and Angeline Nash of Oakley, MI; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Nathan “Butch” Nash.
The service for Chance will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Muskegon, 1206 N. Whitehall Rd., with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating. Friends may meet the family 12-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions in honor of Chance may be made to the North Ottawa Community Hospital Emergency Department or to Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
