To Buck's family... For many years we lived across the street from you as I was growing up. Bob, I spent quite a bit of time with you as my playmate (the kid across the street). I often wandered over to your house to visit with both Buck and Em and your Mom taught me how to bowl! My parents remained friends with them throughout their lives. I just wanted to send you my sincerest condolences regarding the loss of your Dad. I remember happy times in our neighborhood at the Redding's house as well as at our house, the VanderJagt's house. Know that all of you are in my thoughts. I just returned from out of state and didn't learn of Buck's passing until tonight. I wish I would have known so I could have attended his services as I did attend your Mom's. May God be with all of you and bring warm thoughts of good times past to sustain you as you continue life's journey without your Dad. Someday we will all meet again....what a day that will be.

Buck was a very wonderful. Although he wasn't my blood grandfather I still considered him to be my grandfather. He always had a smile on his face and always made you feel very welcome. I am very grateful for getting the chance to know him and for what he did for my grandmother Clyta. He will be greatly missed.

Buck was my grandfather. As a young girl, I remember going to grandma's ice cream shop (Jeannie's Whippy Dip.) Didn't get to see him often because he and my father were not on the best of terms. We spoke often as an adult, sent cards, letters and many phone calls. After my grandmother passed away, I tried to locate him, sent cards and letters. Some got returned and some didn't. Hadn't had any contact since then. Until the day before he passed away, we got a phone call saying he was not going to make it through the night. Never even knew he moved back to Michigan, lived behind the MAISD for 7 years! I work for the school district and have many trainings at the MAISD, he was right behind the building the whole time! I know he must've thought about us because there was a picture of my 4 daughters, in a frame with a picture of my grandfather and grandmother, on a shelf next to his bed. It was a picture of my girls at the age he had last seen them. It breaks my heart to know that so much time passed, so many years we missed out on, searching with no luck and he was right under my nose the whole time. My girls and I, along with my brothers and their children, missed out on having a grandfather in our lives and we finally find out where he is at while he's taking his last breaths of life. I hope he knew we were there with him at that point. You are at peace now, grandpa, just know you were never forgotten and always in our hearts ❤️

When Crane Cams opened the shop in Daytona Beach, FL my husband, Richard Page, and Buck were the first employees at the building to receive all the machines being shipped from Michigan. Since we were transplants from Michigan we became instant family. My son was spoiled by Jeanie and Buck on a regular basis, best memory was on Nicholas's first birthday they got him a Big Wheel which he couldn't ride until he was three but Buck liked it a lot and wanted him to have it...wonderful man, always a great smile. God as a wonder Angel with him now. Deepest Sympathy. Love Cheryle
