Mr. Charles Steven Cathcart's Obituary
Charles “Charlie” Steven Cathcart, age 72, of Muskegon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 11, 2017. Charles was born on August 20, 1945 to Robert and Alice Cathcart in Muskegon. On July 5, 1975, he married the former Jamie (Smith) Cathcart. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing, and he loved his football, especially Notre Dame and high school games. He also cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Jamie; sons, Tom (Laura) Johnson, Paul Johnson, and Kevin (Beth) Cathcart; grandchildren, Ryan Shaffer, Skylar Johnson, Tanner Johnson, Kaytee Shore, Marissa Cathcart, Breanna Cathcart, Caleb Cathcart, Jimmy Belanger and Alyss Belanger; and his 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kim Cathcart, and his brother, Robert Cathcart. Per the family’s request, there will be no services held at this time.
