It's been a month now and still have not found the words to describe what the loss of Charlie means for me personally. I find solace knowing he was able to remain in his home and live on his terms but sad I missed the moment to hold his hand in the end and tell him how much I loved him one more time. He was so much larger than life! He had such compassion for people who might suffer and wanted to do all he could to help anyone in any way he could to make their day/life a little brighter.
He always saw the brighter side of everything and did all he could to get others to see that way of thinking as well. A large void not having him with us anymore - he will forever be in my heart and on my mind for all the little things that made him so very special to me - Love you, Dad!
