Charles "Chuck" LaFrance's Obituary
Mr. Charles “Chuck” LaFrance, age 61, of Spring Lake passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. He was born February 24, 1955 in Grand Haven to Alex and Betty (Plowman) LaFrance. On November 8, 2014 he married the former Deborah Parker in Grand Haven.
Chuck owned Grandview Services and loved to work for himself. He was passionate about helping his family, friends and community whenever the need arose. He volunteered with the Recycle and Appliance Ministries at First Christian Reformed Church for many years. He was a rock and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
He was loved and will be missed by his wife, Deb LaFrance; sons, Aron (Melissa) LaFrance, Sean Parker; daughter, Courtney LaFrance; grandchildren, Isabella and Nathan LaFrance, Gage LaFrance; mother, Betty LaFrance; brother, Mark LaFrance; sister Renee LaFrance and special friend Sharon Caraso; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Alex LaFrance.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2016 at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Rich Hamstra officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Chuck may be given First Christian Reformed Church Recycle and Appliance Ministries.
