Dear Mrs. Meyers and Family,

We're so sorry to hear of Charlie's passing! Even though we did not know him well, we, along with thousands and thousands of customers (attendees) of the Station Grill!

He was always so quiet and unassuming; but we always enjoyed watching him at work
directing the business.

We always visit the Station with visitors from out of town; one of which had come all the way from Capetown, South Africa!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you... he's left a wonderful legacy to you and US!

Our deepest sympathy to the Meyers family. We love the Station! We also got the pleasure of being a couple of his yoga students some years ago at the Omni Gym. We were in awe of him and didn't miss a yoga class led by him. He was a great motivator and a true inspiration!!

Charlie was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known in my life. And he was a Gentleman, in every sense of the word: kind, generous, tolerant, intelligent, athletic, knowledgeable on dozens of subjects, soft-spoken, but strong in his convictions. He was a true Renaissance man, with such a wide range of interests that he could easily converse with anyone, from any walk-of-life. He was a savvy businessman, but never greedy or arrogant. He was a good friend with whom I now wish I could have spent more time, having met him some 25-plus years ago. Muskegon has lost one of it finest and we all mourn his passing but revel in his long, happy and robust life.

Chris, I am so very sorry on the loss of your dad. He sounds like he was a great person and a lot of fun. I lost my dad just this past August and he, too, loved to sail. So every time you see a sailboat, you'll know your dad is thinking of you. My deepest condolences to you and your entire family.
