Hi. My sincere deepest sympathy to your whole family. Chuck was a good friend and neighbor of mine in high school and after graduation. We had many great times together in Modern Myth and Creative Writing. We had good time with out friend at the swimming pool.
We lost contact after he went in to the service but I will always remember how kind and what a sense of humor Chuck had. He will be sadly missed. Sincerely, Florence (Coon) Mitcheltree, Class of 1980##imported-begin##Florence (Coon) Mitcheltree##imported-end##

I deliver ice cream for Cedar Crest Dairy and have worked with Chuck for many years. First when He was with D&W, and then with Edys. I delivered product that Chuck would order, and then He would merchandise it. I was always amazed at the precision of His orders, even during big sales. It always seemed to be exactly what the store needed, never an abundance left over after the sale ended like so many other sales reps seem to do. It will take two reps to replace the job that Chuck did, He was that good. Over the years we talked about many things, not always business, and I feel like I got to know Him well. He was solid, dependable, and He cared. One week ago my truck broke down and I knew I would be down for a good while that day. Chuck came to where I was at, and we loaded a store order in His car and He made one of my deliveries himself. Chuck was a first rate guy, and I am saddened and shocked by His passing. It will be very quiet on my route, as we never seemed to go more than a few days without talking on the phone, or meeting up at one of our stores. May His Family find peace in this sudden, untimely event. Thank You for providing an opportunity for me to meet, work with, and get to know a great man.##imported-begin##Bob Chasseur##imported-end##
I was so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I always tell my kids my favorite story about me and my friend Chuckie Jamerson. We were in grade school and we must have been walking home from school. All I remember is tackling Chuckie in the ditch and kissing him. (I think I was a little young to be so boy crazy.)
He was a good friend and neighbor. I am very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
