Charles Arthur Jamerson Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Charles Arthur Jamerson, Jr., age 48, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at his home. Chuck was born June 26, 1962 to Charles Sr. and Joyce (Dusenberry) Jamerson in Cut Bank, Montana. He lived in the Muskegon area most of his life graduating from Reeths Puffer High School and earning his associates degree in Business Management from Suomi College. He served his Country in The U.S. Air Force. Chuck was employed by D&W Food Stores of Grand Haven for many years and for the past 6 years had been employed by Edy’s Ice Cream as a merchandiser. Chuck had a great sense of humor, loved his solitude, and reading. He is survived by his children, Amber L. Jamerson of Spring Lake and Chase (fiancée, Renee Gange) Jamerson of Phoenix, AZ; his grandson, Damian Charles Hilton; his mother and father, Charles and Joyce Jamerson of Muskegon; sister, Deana (Charles) Sugarbaker of Muskegon; a niece and nephew, Ashley Kay and Hank D. Miel; maternal grandmother, Alice Dusenberry; godmother, Rita Van Gennep; lifelong friend, Martin Dobberstein; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 20, 2010 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1206 Whitehall Rd. with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating and Full Military Rites under the auspices of the V.F.W. Muskegon County Council. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers, MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
