One of my best memories was a "pizza run" to Mackinaw City. We headed to the park by the bridge and the birds loved Dad. They would take food right from his hands. Me...not so much. I sat on the ground and he gradually dressed me in all of his stuff...hat, coat...and the birds still wouldn't eat the Doritos from my hand. I'll miss these trips!

I have a life time of memories but a few stand out today. Taking off for a drive was his favorite thing to do. I remember getting scooped out of bed one morning, it was still dark and driving into Ludington to a small diner for lemon meringue pie and to watch the sun rise with my Dad. I think I was 6. The things that make you love even more deeply. Miss you Daddy.
