Charley A. Skuse's Obituary
Charley Allen Skuse, age 62, passed away peacefully in his home April 1, 2016 in Hesperia, MI after a long battle with cancer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Charley enjoyed working on old cars, car shows, traveling, and vacations to Mackinaw City. He will be missed by many and never forgotten. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Skuse; mother, Ruth Skuse; children, Patricia Chamberlain (Jeremy), Nate Skuse (Megan Patterson), James Skuse (Nicole); stepchildren, Joshua Graff and Jacob Graff; brothers, David Skuse (Debbie), Elwood Skuse Jr., Dennis Comstock (Brenda); and sister, Ann Dawes (Rick); grandchildren, James Petrie (JaiLynn), Charles Petrie (Kateri), Heather Cooley (Tyler), Andrew Borrow (Ashley Frank), Kylee Patterson-Skuse, Payton Patterson-Skuse, Kailyn Skuse, Eric Skuse, Seifer Graff; one great-grandchild, Taryn Petrie and another two on the way; and ex-wife, Wenda Skuse. He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Skuse; son, Charley Skuse; and brother, Frank Comstock. Family Update about Charley's Celebration of Life:
Come celebrate the life of Charley with us Saturday, April 30th at 3 pm until whenever at his son James Skuse's house (5490 Olds Ln, Whitehall, MI 49461)! We will have tents in the case of rain.
We will be grilling hot dogs and burgers along with some other picnic style food and providing drinks (bring your own beer). We'll also have a horse shoe pit, kids playground, soccer goals and everybody in the family is welcome!
A donation box will be available for cards to the family and we'll be doing some raffles to help cover for the costs we have and will incur. Here is a link to our donation page and obituary.
