Charlotte L. Lubbers, age 79, passed away Friday evening, January 24, 2014 at Hackley Hospital. She was born February 9, 1934 in Fremont to George and Sena (Freye) Rottman and has resided in the Muskegon area since 1956. Char was Read Obituary
Dear Lubbers Family and Friends,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear loved one. Please accept my sincere condolences. May it comfort you to know that The Most High God has resurrected humans before on Earth, and He assures us He will do so again very soon. (Acts24:15,Job15:15).
Our thoughts and prayers are with you - due to conditions we are unable to attend. Our loss is God's gain - He has yet one more angel with him now.
While grandma's passing was sudden, we delight in the years and the memories we were able to share together. As we cope with her passing we shall not think of it as a loss, but rather a homecoming. Rejoicing in her being reunited with loved ones above. Nonetheless she will be missed...

memory for birthday's etc., not only for her family, but for many others. We often
chatted with her in Meijers. She always had a smile and inquired about our family.
So thoughtful. We will miss her. We will pray for your family in the days ahead.

Grandma always made the best baked goods. I fondly remember zucchini cakes that were baked inside of reused aluminum vegetable cans. Those were my favorite. On Easter we would get chocolate covered marshmallow pies. She was a very sweet lady. Going to miss visiting her but I have many dear memories to cherish in my heart.

Mom Lubbers would come to our house for Sunday dinner many times. She liked everything we made. We played the Uno card game with her which she enjoyed. She would see my piano in our living room and ask me, " are you going to play me a song on the 'pie-an-o'? I would play an hymn for her. I loved her homemade potato salad & rhubarb pie. so sorry for you guys loss,the death of a mother is tremendous .aunt charlotte was a sweet loving,n caring mom ,mother-in[law grandma,aunt sister n dear friend.aunt charlotte would come shopping in the north muskegonmeijers where i used to work n have lunch or just swing in to say hi n see how my mom n dad (russ n carol sircher)are .now deceased.but i enjoyed her visits whenever shed come in to do her shopping.i think the last time we saw her was when i was in meijers shopping with my kids was at christmas time a yr.or 2 ago .n was told she had broke her hip n has been in rehab home til she healed.n noticed she has lost alot of weight.she will surely be missed by all you.shes in better place now n will always be in your memories.n mine also.rest in peace aunt charlotte n miss you.
