Charlotte A. Peck's Obituary
Mrs. Charlotte A. Peck, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. She was born on March 29, 1935 to Charles and Ellen (Christiansen) Tompsett in Trufant, MI. Charlotte married Lewis Peck on June 21, 1958 in Howard City, MI and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2018. Charlotte was interested in history, business and politics, skilled at administrative and financial recordkeeping, and was one of the first women to join the Muskegon Lions Club. Charlotte was the financial secretary at Central United Methodist Church in Muskegon, MI for many years, and later worked at the Muskegon County Museum. Lewis and Charlotte were active members of Central United Methodist Church. Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Edgar) Cahoon and Joyce (Stephen) Browne; and granddaughter, Jessica Browne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis; brothers, Raymond Tompsett and Paul Tompsett; and sisters, Dorothy Rowland and Margaret Wilson. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers to Harbor Hospice.
