On behalf of our mom, Doris Reynolds, we give Chet’s family, particularly Fern, our sincere sympathies. Mom was an employee of both John and Chet until the late 1970’s and because of Chet’s being such a outgoing friendly man, we all knew him. Well after Chet “semi” retired, Chet and Fern went out of their way to visit in FL and visited mom in Sanctuary at the Oaks as she was failing. These kinds of generosities demonstrate the type of “guy” Chet was—always kind, always smiling, always positive. He will be missed.

Saddened to see of Chet's passing. Thru the Pine Creek Men's Bridge Club, he'd become a good friend. Will miss him! Sympathies to Fern and the family.....Pat and Julie Donahue
I was saddened to hear of Chet's passing. He was always so energenic for his years. I looked forward to seeing him in the morning, at work, because he always had a good joke to share with us. He was always willing to help with loading appliances for customer pick up. Many people came in looking for him because he had treated them so well on appliance purchases over the years or just to talk. Chet will be sadly missed by fellow employees and customers alike! Sincere Sympathies to the Nienhuis Family,
Mark Attenberger
Chet's smiling face and cherry greeting will be sorely missed. I have known him for more than sixty years. First met Chet when I joined the Muskegon Y's Men's Club in 1958. My prayers are with Fern and Scott and the rest of the family.

Our condolences to the Nienhuis family. Chet was always a joy to be around in the Y's Club-always positive and smiling, never a harsh word about anyone. We will miss his helpfulness and cheerful attitude. Hal and Barb Hermanson
