Dear Shirley and Chris' brothers... I, like most people, was totally shocked to hear about Chris' death. It has taken me some time to wrap my head around the fact that he is gone. He was a good man who loved his daughter, pets, family and life in general. What a shame that he is gone so soon. I don't have your phone number, Shirley, or I would have called to tell you how sorry I am. I hope to run into you soon to talk to you in person. God speed Chris!! Shirley, my deepest sympathy to you. Chris was a fine man who I became friends because we shared the same love for animals and landscaping. He once brought over a ton of puzzles to the reef because my mom and I said we liked doing puzzles and they were the coolest puzzles. He had such a kind heart and that’s what I liked about him!! I’m in shock to hear this horrible news. I have many memories of Chris and just as many crazy adventures. It seems we were all bulletproof back at cox high school and never a dull moment. Chris had a special way of always finding the fun in every situation. I can still see the devilish grin to this day. You will be missed my old friend but never forgotten.

I am heartbroken to hear of Chris’s passing. He was a dear soul and wonderful friend, who I will always remember from my youth. I hold the fondest memories of growing up with him and all of our fun in and out of school. Everyone in my family loved Chris. My heart goes out to his dear family... I am so saddened to be writing this condolence. I knew Chris from Cox HS in Va Beach. The school basically revolves around him. He was the kindest person ever known. We have had so many memories and he was a true friend. The last time I saw him was in 2009. We lost touch after his dad passed.There isn’t a memory I gave where his beautiful blue eyes weren’t shining. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. May he be at peace. You will forever be missed, Chris 😂
