Christopher Scott Shuman's Obituary
Christopher Scott Shuman, age 47, of Ferrysburg passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at home. He was born April 20, 1971, in Meridan, Mississippi to Scott and Shirley Lynn (Damhoff) Shuman.
Chris attended First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven. He worked as a landscaper, and had worked for Bill Tysman Trucking & Snowplowing. Chris loved playing soccer in his younger days in Virginia Beach. He was an avid surfer, loved to cook, do landscaping, and loved animals, especially his dogs, and cat “Tootsie”.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Chloe Shuman of Hernden, VA; his mother, Shirley (Paul Lampe) Shuman of Grand Haven; his grandmother Ann (Marv) Satter of Grand Haven; two brothers, Michael Shuman of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Gregory “Greg” Shuman of Tavernier, FL; his aunt, Henni Campbell of Grand Haven; and his uncle, Steve (Marsey) Shuman of Petoskey; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Shuman on June 7, 2009, and grandfather, John Damhoff, and grandmother, Georgianna Shuman.
