Clarence "Kurt" Kurtzweil's Obituary
Clarence "Kurt" Kurtzweil, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He was born on September 20, 1945. He was a 1963 graduate of Muskegon High School and was a Veteran of the US Navy from 1963 to 1969, having served on the USS Fremont. In 1967 he married Terry (Greiner) Kurtzweil. He worked as an electrician for Sealed Power/DANA Corp from 1969 until retirement in 2006. He is survived by Terry, his wife of forty-nine years; children, Shawn (Mark Thomas) Herrera and Scott (Renee) Kurtzweil; grandchildren, Selena Herrera, Damian Herrera, Samuel Kurtzweil, Eli Kurtzweil and Luc Kurtzweil, Jordan Thomas and Theresa Thomas; siblings, June (Marshall) Winchell, Shirley (Dale) Lutke and Ronald (Joyce) Kurtzweil; and special friend Jerry Rager. He was preceded in death by his father Damian Kurtzweil and mother Vida (Walker) Kurtzweil. A Celebration of Life to be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Don Rea VFW Post 8846 at 1061 Witham, North Muskegon. Arrangements entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E.
