I'm sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He and your mother were sure supportive during all your high school/band events. It sounds like you have a great circle of friends and family around you for support.
I have often wondered if you were still in the area. I moved back to Muskegon in 1994 after living in several other states.

I am sorry to here of the loss of your dad. I lost my dad about a month ago and know how you must be feeling. I remember your dad when he used to come into the restaurant(JB's) and have coffee and a sandwich. I remember him being a very "colorful" character and always liked seeing him. You don't know me, but I knew Clayton very well when I was a younster. He did excellent painting for my mother and father, Jack and Martha Hilt, on Memorial Drive. My mother and father have passed away, but always loved "Clate". They shared many a laugh with he and his wonderful sense of humor. Clayton was a wonderful neighbor of ours for many years on Garland Dr.--generous with his time and good to our children. When Tom and Jeff were painting the outside of our house one summer(in an amateurish way), Clayton showed up in his white overalls and helped them. He was much older than they were, but he painted at three times the pace! We have great memories of him working in his yard, shoveling snow off his roof, advising us on home repairs, and telling us proudly about his grandchildren.
