My condolences to Connie's family. I was blessed to grow up with her. We lived down the street from one another. While I haven't seen Connie in years, I have fond memories of her. She was the most compassionate, loving, and kindest person I've ever met. As her body became frail, her memory never failed her.
Treated me sometimes better than her own kids. Always too kind to me. Mom loved sharing Jacks pizzas with me(just one of those things that someone only does with one another) and always made sure she had some on hand. She would give her last anything with someone. Going to miss her kindness and laughter!
Too many great memories with my mom. We were always poor but my mom always found ways to make my sister Amy and I feel like millionaires. I thank God for giving me the most selfless, kind, affectionate, faithful, compassionate, forgiving mom. She was always so proud of me and my sister and all her grandkids. My mom taught me to forgive often, and that love can endure forever. When I married my wife Shelly I truly knew I won in life, for every quality my mom had, so did my wife Shelly. God is great! Thankyou mom for never giving up on me when I let you down. Glad you are pain free and with your parents and brother and dad in heaven.
my best memories were always from staying at her house. Whether is was just me, me and Caleb, or me Caleb and Alayna. We always had the best the best memories at her house. At points we would probably not be on our best behavior, but even then she loved having us around at her place. She'd spoil us, make sure we never went hungry every single time, asking you multiple times about if you'd want something to snack on. Bringing us to the store before hand and letting us get different snacks and even to the thrift stores, letting us spend money there even if she never had much to give to us at times. She always let us be spoiled. She was always just so happy to be around people and always so happy to have us grandkids around. Especially when it was time to make hard candy, all of us grandkids in her small kitchen all working together to make hard candy was always such a mess but it always made for the best memories. She never made you feel alone when you were around her. She was always so supportive of my artwork, my dreams, and everything I've always wanted to accomplish.
I love you grandma, I'll always miss staying at your house and being around you. I'm glad you got to watch me grow up into a young woman and that you always were proud of my every step. I'll miss cooking with you and having my Kooky grandma around. Every gathering was always better having you around. I'll miss you and your mint gum you never ran out of. 💜
