Connie M. Przybylek's Obituary
Connie M. Przybylek, age 77, passed away very suddenly at her home on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. She was born March 6, 1949 in Muskegon, MI to Adam M. and Elvie L. (Long) Ritchard and was a lifelong resident of the area. Connie was in the first graduating class of Oakridge High School in 1967. On October 4, 1969, she married Richard “Dick” J. Przybylek in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1998. Connie worked 25 years as a merchandiser for Arnie’s Bakery and retired in 2005. She was a member of the former Eastwood Church of the Nazarene. Connie volunteered extensively for many causes over the years, but especially as a Oakridge Band Parent, as a Block Parent, and helped in the library and with the Oakridge PTA. She loved spending time with her grandkids, cooking, baking and going antiquing and bargain shopping. Connie spent many summers with the family at her family’s cottage in Beulah, MI. Survivors include her 2 children, Amy (Tom) Weiss, Richard “Dickie” (Shelly) Przybylek, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Brittany Weiss, Alayna Weiss, Caleb Przybylek, Gabriella Przybylek, Landon Przybylek, Isabella Przybylek; 2 brothers, Clay Ritchard, Chuck (Marie) Ritchard; 3 sisters, Marcia (Tracy) Pastoor, Pam Ritchard, Elvie Ritchard Gadberry; 1 sister-in-law, Rose Gale; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special lifelong friend from childhood, Karen Kurtz. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard John Przybylek, Sr.; her parents, Adam and Elvie Ritchard; 1 brother, Gary Ritchard; and 1 brother-in-law, Kevin Gadberry. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Wolf Lake Methodist Church, 378 Vista Terrace, Muskegon, MI 49442, with Pastor Dave Meister officiating. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Wolf Lake Methodist Church. Interment will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery at a later date.
