I remember when I was little he would sneak me some ice cream every time we visited him. It was our thing to eat ice cream, play cribbage at the table, and go pick the ripened fruits and vegetables in the garden. I will always remember days before he passed we went up to visit him and love him with all the time we had left. I sat there for about an hour or two just holding his hand and telling him about all my future plans are and how excited I was. And our last words to each other were so bittersweet. I told him, "Grandpa, God loves you." His hearing was so humorous my whole life and the last words were, "I love you too." He will always be with me I know it!
