Dear Winsemius Family,
We were truly sorry to hear that Cindy had died. She was a genuinely delightful lady, and both of us appreciated her presence. I met her at OLG when she was the next pray-er on the prayer chain. When I was busy(which I often was) she would zip ahead and do my call for me. I knew her fondly as a parent at MCC and also a teacher. At the park and at the Tenebrae she was irreplacable. I'm finding myself missing you more and more with each day that passes since you left us. You always had a smile on your face, even until your last few days here on earth. I've never met such an amazing person. You truly are a special lady... Always had a helping hand, a kind word, and a huge smile. You were an amazing grandma to Evan and I know you touched him deeply and for that he will never forget all the times you shared with him and knowledge about nature along with everything else he learned from you. Ariana and Gianna will have many pictures to look at when they are older and we will all make sure they know how special you were and how much you loved your grand babies. I know you are watching over us all now and keeping us safe. I loved you like I love my own mother. I'm going to miss your Sunday visits after church. I can still see you walking up the driveway with your big smile and usually a basket of goodies in your hands. To all of Cindy's family.
Cindy was our youngest son Dan's kindergarten teacher, so we have known her a long while. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone she met. She taught our children to be confident, loving and god fearing individuals. I have never known another person with such a gentle spirit. I am saddened by her death and know that the Lord must have a very special place for her.

My deepest sympathy to the Sagan families. Cindy was the most amazing person, her bright smile seemed to light up the room and she always made it a point to say a kind word to everyone. She fought her battle with great dignity and courage. She now has the greatest gift...she is walking with the Lord. May all of you feel our Saviors presence at this most difficult time. We never did get a chance to go out for coffee liked we talked about a few weeks ago. I am so very sad to hear about your passing. You are one of the classiest and kindest person God has blessed me to know. Thank you for all those years of taking care of the baseball team at Catholic Central.
