I was a neighbor of Dale in Austin, TX. He lived on the corner of our cul-de-sac. We used stop and talk outside his house when I walked our dog Izzy the beagle. Just found out about his accident this morning from another neighbor. Have been working out of state since past year after I could not get a job in Austin for a year during which time I also broke my leg. Should have kept in touch with Dale. He was a kind person, good guy and a good neighbor. Izzy will be crushed knowing Dale is not around to pet her as she walks by. Dale will be missed. Am sorry for your loss.

My prayers and condolences to Dale's family. I was a colleague of Dale's, and as a fellow (though novice) cyclist, I always enjoyed sharing cycling stories with him. He made me laugh, and I appreciated his encouragement. He is greatly missed by his colleagues both in the Austin office, and those of us around the country. We miss you Dale, and Lord willing, we'll see you again. :-)
